From: The Neuroscience Alliance
The Neuroscience Alliance, is an educational organization. We meet regularly
for journal club meetings, grand rounds and educational forums to discuss new
treatments for neuropsychiatric illnesses such as autism, bipolar,
depressive, anxiety, psychoses, dementia, traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, migraine,
catatonia and sleep disorders. The Neuroscience Alliance can best described as
a Clinical, Educational and Research Department of Neuropsychiatry and
Neuroscience without walls.
There were 8 pharmaceutical companies that participated in our programs in
2006. They were: Abbott Labs, Astra Zeneca, Bristol Myers Squibb, Cephalon,
Cyberonics, Eli Lilly, Forest, Janssen, Pfizer, and Wyeth. To review last year's

We are very concerned with the quality of the venues, speakers and topics
in 2007. Furthermore, we favor educational grants over
pharmaceutical-industry sponsored programs. Our financial support comes from speaker training,
honoraria, equipment rental and administrative fees.
We have listed the event dates for 2007. These dates are not fixed and
can be changed or switched as necessary. We have 12 companies and 12 dates.
We can also offer additional dates for events by special arrangement.
